Hi Everybody, Just letting you know I went to see Dido last night in concert in Dublin in a small intimate venue called Vicar Street and she was absolutely brilliant. She did a one hour set and featured a great new song which I think was called "Don't leave home". It was her first gig in Dublin and the crowd loved her. I took a digital camera with me but left it in the car so sorry no photos. Finally all i got to say is she comes across as being a very nice down to earth person and is also extremely Cute!!!!. I cant wait to see did in dublin again.
The guys in the band were really cool as well and mingled with the crowd after the gig.

I first heard Dido through Don't think of me, but couldn't put a name on the song. I'm glad I was finally able to put a name on such a great voice when my roommate forced me to listen to Thank you... (sometimes torture can be so delightful). The thing that I regret now is that she should on air more often.
I wish Dido the best.
She can rest assured that I will be there whenever she comes in Montreal City to visit her Canadian friends.

I love Dido! I espacially love songs Hunter, Here with me and Thank you. When I first heard Stan, I thought (since I'm not the biggest fan of rap in the world) wow. If that part where the chick sings were a song all by itself, it would be really great! And then I here thank you on the radio and found out it was dido. I had already heard Here with me and loved it. I just want to say that Dido is the greatest and more people should love her! everyone should love her!

Wow I Love your Site its Awesome!!! Do U mind If I link U to My Dido Forum?? I First heard Dido Probably Like Most of U On the Show "Roswell" I tuned in everyweek to Just to hear the introduction.. Finally One nite it drove me crazy cause I wanted that Song to listen to every Nite. So I Checked Out the WB Site to See if they had the name of the artist and sadly they didnt.. Until one day my friend was telling me about emenim Song "Stan" (This song wasnt a single yet) and the voice sort of sounded famliar. I first heard the beautifully haunting voice of Dido on the movie "If These Walls Could Talk 2". I've since hunted down the "No Angel" CD and am hooked. I keep hearing people compare Dido to Sarah McLachlin --- Wrong! Dido is in a totally different Universe! I love Sarah, but she's no Dido!

Hiyas :) Great site, it's nice to see some websites with information on one of my favorite artists, Leigh Nash. I looked through your page, and just wanted to add something. You may have this already, but I couldnt see it on the page, so I just I'd mention that Leigh recently did a song with a wonderful band called Delerium, also one of my favourites, on their new album Poem. The song is called Innocente, and Leigh really gets all the space she needs here to turn this onto a gentle masterpiece. Highly reccomended.

I first heard of Dido on Eminem's song "Stan". I loved her part of the song and i started wondering if it was a real song because i loved that part so much! I then heard it on the radio so i went out and bought the CD and it hasnt come out of my CD player yet!!! I love all her songs ecspecially "thank you" and "here with me". I guess its because when ever i have a bad day i can come home and listen to these songs and everything will be calm and relaxing again. I love music that has the power to do that. I love her CD !!!!!!!

I just have to say that Dido is the sweetest person I have ever met. My fiance and I went her concert on November 2, 2000 and it was truely the best concert I have ever been to. I got to meet Dido when she came out after everyone had left for the night. I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer recently and my fiance took me to her concert to cheer me up.
I had told Dido that she was truely an inspiration to me and that I myself am a singer and that I had studied opera for 6 years. I had also told her how her music helped me get through my illness. She looked like she was going to cry when I told her this and then I put my hand out to shake it but she grabbed me and gave me a huge hug. I was so taken aback. She said that she hopes I will get better and that everything will be alright. I almost shed a tear. She is so sweet. She even gave my fiance, Jim, a hug. She told me that it's ""fantabulous"" that I sing and that I look to her for inspiration. If anyone gets a chance to meet her it will really be a treat, because of her kind nature and caring personality.
My fiance wants to take me to her next concert for my 22nd birthday, if she comes back to Philly soon. Good luck to all.

This is a wonderful site. I found this website a year ago looking up stuff about Sixpence none the Richer, and return to find out about Dido. Her cd is fabulous. A suggestion- have you heard of Poe? She is an artist that is not that well known but has a strong fan base. Her new album, Haunted, debuted at number 115 on the charts a couple of weeks ago. She is a great singer and you should really check her out. She sounds like Fiona Apple with a rock/pop feel to it.

Excellent fan site! I came across Dido, the way the majority of new fans will have. Yes Eminem's album was the culprit but in all honesty he wasn't the star on his album. I've been a Dido fan for awhile now...her CD is the best one I own.
I first heard of her when Roswell started and "Here With Me" came on as the
theme song. I like "Stan" and all, but I find myself telling everyone that it's
actually HER song (all I ever hear is "that chick sounds good in Eminem's song"...ah
that frusterates me...lol). Anyway, I have a few other Sirens of Song you might

I was listening to Eminem's "Stan and I thought it was a really good song. But I especailly liked the part with the girl singing. Then one of my friend's told me she had her own song, an I finally heard it. I can now say it is one of my favorite songs, and I am getting Dido's album for Christmas. I think she's very original, and I can't wait to hear some more of her work.

I've never heard of Dido but i loved one of her songs forever. It was on the Hear of the Year 2000 CD. My boyfriend and I searched and searched to see who sang "Here With Me." We finally found out, then had to search to find her CD. But I am so glad that I found out who she is. She is up there with Fiona Apple, in my eyes.

Dido is a totally amazing singer, much better than half the
