Saw Dido in NYC. Excellent show! I actually just bought her CD 1 week earlier (i know, i know...), and found out about the concert the day it was happening! Perfect timing! I think Dido are superb the first time i heard them was probably November last year when Roswell aired over here and the song Here With Me enchanted me i went and downloaded it right away!! Then my friend was letting me hear Eminems new LP and as soon as Stan started i knew it was Dido her voice is so distinctive!! In the Uk she isn't really so famous but now due to Stan i think she will be massive i plan to by her album really soon as i think this girl will go places!! Hi Brian! Well I'm a fan of Dido for over 10 months now. I bought it at The Virgin Megastore in Times Square cause it was on their "Our Picks" rack. I thought "sure, why not". I'm glad that I wasn't disappointed. After that I kept introducing her to my friends but none of them caught on cause she wasn't getting much air play. However 10 months later she's exploded in to the scene and just last night I had the priviledge of watching her bring down The Roseland Ballroom here in Manhattan. She was great! The band was amazing live. I don't go to many concerts and this is my first in English (I'm Latina) and I was just singing up a storm. Cool part is that I knew most of the lyrics to the songs so I was stared at by a few who looked at me as "gee she's a fan". I had a great time. I was so excited to hear her tell us last night during her concert that just yesterday morning her album went GOLD. She also said she'd always wanted to play at Roseland since she heard Portishead Live from Roseland. I'm hoping so much that she puts out a Live from Roseland CD herself cause I'd buy it just to remember my evening with Dido. Love this page Brian, keep it up. Thanks and Take Care! -Viv-

Hi there, I love your site, it's so neat and it's always updated ( I love the Vidcaps part, they're really beautifully made ). I'm actually listening to " Here with me " as it fits my situation now. I heard "here with me" on the radio the day my boyfriend, (the love of my life for over 2 years now) left for college. I had pretended it had not botherd me all day, intill I went in my room and turned on that radio, I let the tears flow and finally... I did not feel so alone. I felt like someone was relateing, and it helped me alot. I love the song, its one of the best I have ever heard.

I thought my brother was a homo when he bought the Dido cd. When I started to listen to it, I couldn't turn it off. I can relate to all of her songs. I really like Dido. I first heard her on the Roswell Theme, and I would rush to the tv to catch the opening credits so i could hear "Here With Me". I was planning to buy the Cd ASAP, but it was never in stock. When I heard "Stan", I knew I had to get the CD. I finally have it now, and it is wonderful. I've been a Dido fan since October 1999 and I am so glad to see there is a site out there for fellow fans to chat and get information on Dido and other Sirens of Song. I can't get enough of Dido and check this site out at least once a week to keep updated. I just wish she would play a concert in my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida or someplace close! i just want everyone to know how incredibly desperate i was to see dido play in nyc in may. i took a train into the city and caught a cab to irving plaza -- all by myself (i'm only 17). my dad called me while i was there like 4 times, threatening me to come home or else. needless to say, i wasn't missing that concert for anything b/c i already wasn't able to catch her twice when she came to ny for various reasons. so i stayed and the next day my dad threw me out of the house. it's all good now, though, b/c he felt bad and realized he was crazy. lol i also want to add that i heard of her in may 1999 when "here with me" was first played on the radio and i completely fell in love with the song and the album which i got in june when it came out. i'm such a huge dido fan and i truly appreciate this page. i'm acutally going to see her again in august -- not alone though. i can't wait. does anyone know who's opening up this time??

Dido is fantastic. I've never heard an album where I liked all the songs. I've purchased cd's for a single song before, but this one is so much more. I heard the Thank You loop on the Eminem cd (Stan) and totally had to track it down. I didn't know it was on the No Angel cd. I called a friend in England to see if she could find it for me.It's not released out there yet. I bought the cd and heard it and totally freaked out. I was jumping around the store as people watched. My ex-girlfriend thought I was crazy, but I didn't care. I found the song and that's all that mattered. That loop that is in Eminems' cd makes that song as strong as it is. "Thank You" is one of 12 great tracks.One of the best cd's I've ever owned, and this is someone who owns cd's by Bob Marley.

You should check out Dido on Faithless' Sunday 8pm CD. "My Lover's Gone" has parts played in "Postcards," and she sings "Flowerstand Man." Also, she does a version of everyone's favorite song "Hem of His Garment."

The Cocteau Twins were always a favorite too. I've been without a good radio station for far too long and I'm suffering withdrawal. I can't really put into words the effect that Dido's music has on me, but I will try. I bought her CD, "No Angel", two days ago and I can't stop listening to it. Your page was perfection. Dido rocks my world. The passion in her voice gives me chills everytime I hear her sing. I did not get a chance to see her in concert cause she wasen't at the Lilith Fair date I went to but she still is a goddess to me. I love the way her music makes me feel and the her style is and she's cute so thats a plus. This sight is really good. I am new to this whole internet thing so I haven't seen many (besides Britney Spears-don't ask) but I think this site does her art justice.

Ummm... As many others I am a new Dido fan Via listening to Eminem's new Ablum, and your vocals in his song "Stan". I have to admit I didn't know who Dido was before that song, but I am a fan now!!!. I am surprised that there aren't more comments on Jonatha Brooke, as I feel that she is really talented. Nothing against the other artists on this site, particularly Dido- who I saw a few weeks ago. I am such a huge fan of Dido!! I have seen her in concert, here in Florida, a couple times now.....and every time i leave i feel so priviledged to have seen her. However, i do have a requests.....if anyone can find me the Dido tank top that has 'no Angel' on it (it was being sold at her last appearance here in florida)...i would pay all shipping and handling to have it sent to me!!
